Setting the Pages

Introduction

Pages are main part of the WordPress and this makes the WordPress a solid CMS tool. You can manage all pages from Admin > Pages section. If you are absolutely new to Wordpress, please check the Getting Started with WordPress.

Note: Once the page is created, it should be added to menu via Appearance >> Menus if you'd like it to appear in the navigation on website frontend.

Page options

A number of custom options is available for any page created. Once you are in a specific page in admin panel, scroll down until you see the custom options block illustrated in below Screenshots. We will go through options one by one:

Banner Area



Don't know what is this options for? Read the following.

  • Settings: There are two options named global/local settings. If global is selected then the below settings won't work. All the settings will applied to this page from global options (Kidify Options). If Local is selected then the below settings will be applied for this specific page.
  • Banner: This will enable/disable banner for this page only
  • Style: This enable the different banner style to chose for frontend
  • Title: This field enable to change the banner title.
  • Breadcrumb: This will enable/disable breadcrumb for banner
  • Image: This enable to change banner image using this control
  • Banner Overflow Color: This allows to on/off banner overflow color
  • Overflow Color: This is a color picker to change overflow color of the banner.
